This artwork was born in real time — painted live in the heart of the night, inside a vibrant, moving space filled with music, breath, bodies, and shifting light. The first layers were created entirely with acrylic, while the moment itself was unfolding. Each gesture captured the energy around me: sudden laughter, footsteps brushing the earth, the pulse of rhythm echoing through the crowd.
When the night ended, the painting continued its evolution.
Back in the studio, I returned to the work with oil — adding depth, luminosity, and the slow, meditative richness that only oil can bring. These final layers hold the quiet after the storm: the integration, the reflection, the soul of the moment settling into form.
