AN ANCIENT MEMORY
Mixed media on raw jute canvas (unprimed) · 190 × 142 cm · 2025
THE STORY
This piece is a raw gateway into the state of Ancient Paradise.
It carries a sense of virginity — the material untouched, the jute left exposed, unprimed.
There is space here, air, a decision not to overtake what already exists.
Nothing is forced into completion; it remains in a state of presence.
It holds a quiet fullness — where less becomes the form itself.
THE ARCHETYPE
The Ancient Memory archetype speaks to the layer of experience that feels older than language — a memory carried through sensation, material, silence and intuition.
THE ANCIENT PARADISE READING
The exposed jute becomes part of the meaning. The work does not cover the original surface completely; it allows what already exists to remain visible. In this reading, Ancient Paradise is not a place recreated but a state remembered.
THE COLLECTION
Part of Ancient Paradise, an evolving body of work exploring memory, presence, archetypes, materiality and the hidden language of consciousness.
